Take a bite of an Apple





You've finally made the decision and are going to buy an Apple Laptop! All the hype and hyperbole, as well as the beautiful look of that desktop has gotten to you. Oh and lets not discuss the huge disappointment with Vista. But I digress..

So, are your going to buy a MacBook? ... or maybe a MacBook Pro? or what's that new one... MacAir, AirMac, iMac? See, that's the real problem isn't it.. what should you get? How do you make sense out of all these Apple brand names. Well hopefully we can clear the air and make some sense of all these Apples!

Understanding Apples

Apple has done an incredible job of squeezing a lot of power and features into their notebook/laptop line. Their displays are beautiful with high resolution screens with glossy glass LCD's to make it very shiny, and we all love shiny. Cameras, great sound, lots of connections and they now come with an Intel processor and plenty of memory so the user experience is the best you can find in any computer, laptop or not. Now Apple is constantly changing the specs on both the Desktops and their laptops, so as of today, here is a break down of each platform.

    The processor chip is branded as a little newer design amount however it and the GPU are most likely the similar pace as the 3GS. The old Contact using the similar CPU and GPU as the 3G was quicker. Apart from having the clock pace turned up greater the Touch has much less software programs to run since it is not a phone. It should do better than any iPhone to day in performance.
